Counterfeiting Crows have been paying homage to Counting Crows for over 15 years with unmatched passion and exceptional musicianship. Their tribute captures the essence of the original band, delivering an authentic concert experience that mirrors the high-energy and emotional depth of Counting Crows.

Founded in 2010 as an acoustic duo, Counterfeiting Crows started as a way to celebrate the admiration for Counting Crows' iconic songwriting and captivating live shows. What began as a fun project has since grown into a full-scale touring tribute band, recreating the magic of Counting Crows live, from hit songs to impromptu mid-song jams, crowd sing-a-longs, and show stopping ballads.

With members uniting from a wide musical and performance background; including Rock, Blues, Gospel, Indie, and Country, as well a live theater and the performing arts, this seasoned group of professional musicians brings years of performing, touring, and entertaining to audiences nationwide. Their dedication to authenticity makes every show feel as genuine and heartfelt as the original.

Shane "Mr. Jones" Christo- Lead Vocalist, channeling Adam Duritz's stage presence and storytelling. Nickname; Mr. Jones. Favorite song to perform: "A Murder of One"

Shane is a talented singer-songwriter with a diverse musical background, known for his captivating performances across a wide range of genres including country, rock, theater and acting. A Baltimore native relocated to the Midwest, Shane has spent over 15 years touring and performing nationally. Throughout his career, Shane has showcased his versatility by performing in a variety of cover bands, original bands, acoustic duos, and tribute acts. His deep passion for music is evident in his admiration for Counting Crows, a band he's followed for years. As the lead vocalist for the Counting Crows tribute band "Counterfeiting Crows", Shane brings the iconic sound of the band to life, having previously performed an acoustic duo tribute to them. With three full-length albums to his name, Shane's recording career includes albums of country, rock, and singer-songwriter material, further solidifying his reputation as a seasoned and dynamic performer. Shane has graced the stages of fairs, festivals, and concert halls across the nation, sharing his love for music with audiences far and wide. His unique blend of stage presence, passion, vocal talent, and musical versatility has made him a sought-after performer in the tribute band scene and beyond.

Edward Mullins-Guitarist, the tone-master, arranger/composer, and backing vocalist. Favorite song to perform: "Earthquake Driver"

Ed is an exceptionally talented guitarist and vocalist with a wealth of experience that spans over three decades in the music industry. Based in West Chester, Ohio, Ed has been a dynamic presence in the Cincinnati music scene since the 1990s, performing in a wide range of genres and settings. Known for his versatility and skill, he has built an impressive career playing everything from high-energy rock to smooth yacht rock, before yacht-rock was cool. Ed's musical journey includes extensive work with some of the region's most renowned bands, including his long tenure with the popular corporate event and wedding band, Stays In Vegas. His diverse resume also includes performances with The Company Band, Cin City Band, The Everyday People Band, and East of Austin, among many others. With a reputation for being an outstanding guitarist and a captivating performer, Ed brings an unmatched level of professionalism and passion to every show. Whether delivering the perfect guitar solo or providing solid vocal support, Ed's extensive experience and deep understanding of music make him an invaluable asset to any performance. Kevin Clark. -Bassist, The rock, and soulful foundation of the rhythm section. The quiet, thoughtful man of mystery. Favorite song to perform: "Scarecrow"

Kevin is a highly accomplished bassist, acoustic performer, and vocalist hailing from Kentucky. His extensive musical career spans across numerous prestigious regional country and rock bands. With a reputation for his dynamic stage presence and exceptional versatility, Kevin has earned the respect of his peers and industry professionals alike. His unique ability to seamlessly blend elements of country, rock, and soulful R&B has made him a sought-after talent, and he has consistently elevated the sound and impact of every project he's been a part of. As a core member of Counterfeiting Crows, Kevin brings a level of professionalism, musicianship, and artistry that significantly enhances the band's sound, making it a standout force in the tribute band scene. Jerry Cline-Drums/Percussion, The heartbeat of the band on and off stage. Favorite song to perform: "Omaha"  

Jerry is drummer/percussionist from Northern Kentucky. He has performed for national recording artists, local bands, regional acts and local bands throughout his career. He is a top-notch musician, percussionist, and performer with a variety of live experience, studio credentials, and performances at many regional venues, fairs, festivals, and corporate events. Some of his work includes original bands, cover bands, recording contracts, and sub work for a variety of local and national entertainment.
